My dedication and passion for media production has lived in my heart since I was in middle school. Little did I know that those goofy and playful videos I made with friends would soon turn into my dream career that I am continuing to pursue. I currently work for the City of Madison as a Content Producer while having fun with freelance projects in my free time. I have found that video production is all encompassing of things that I love: people, creating art and connection. As someone who identifies within the LGBTQIA and Latin community, I find it important to create and share stories of love, culture and empowerment. My absolute favorite thing about the production process is seeing people’s reactions when they see how I transformed something that started as an idea or conversation, into something physical that is all encapsulating of their wedding day, brand’s mission and vision or special moments. Capturing special moments is something I’ve had a passion for since I was a little kid. The fascination first started when I was shooting home videos and later re- watching them with my family to reminisce on the beautiful times we shared together. I’ve always found videos to be so powerful because of their innate ability to bring you back to that special moment. After having this realization at such a young age, my love for videography only began to evolve more with age. Shooting videos became part of my every day life, whether it’s live streaming, making YouTube videos, filming weddings, or dashing through the forest of the best ski resort in the world. The more I began to be behind the camera, the more I realized I needed to make it a part of my everyday life. The part that I fell in love with the most is knowing I am helping people live in the moment by capturing their special day so that they don’t have too, and creating a keepsake to which they can look back on to relive those memories. A & B Videography has given me the space to embrace my love in the field with others and help them create their own beautiful visual story that they can reminisce on forever.
